Course venue
The main venue of the course is the Finnish Film Foundation Auditorium, located in Kanavakatu 12, 00160 Helsinki.

Hotel

The Hotel where the course participants will stay is the Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka, located at Vyökatu 1, 00160 Helsinki. The Hotel is at walking distance from the Finnish Film Foundation Auditorium, the main venue of the course. The Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka was formerly a prison - now protected by the National Board of Antiquities – and forms a unique setting for a hotel visit. The old prison cells have undergone a thorough transformation and, by uniting two or three cells and adding a modern interior design, the hotel has been created.

MEDIA Salles will cover the cost of accommodation and breakfast: for any extras, participants are invited to open an individual account with the Hotel, using their credit card as guarantee.
In general “non-smoker” rooms will be assigned. Those who wish to smoke in their rooms are requested to inform MEDIA Salles.

We kindly inform all the participants that the course participation fee includes bed&breakfast accommodation for 4 nights at the Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka in Helsinki.

If you would like MEDIA Salles to book for you a room at the Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka for extra nights, please send an email to infocinema@mediasalles.it together with your credit card details (type of card, number of card, expiry date, exact name of the card holder). MEDIA Salles cannot guarantee room availability. Please note that the hotel is fully booked for the night of 16 February 2010.

When checking in, all the participants will be asked to leave a credit card number where to charge all extra expenses, not covered by MEDIA Salles.

The usual check in time at the Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka is 3.00 pm. Some rooms might be available earlier but earlier check in is not granted. Anyway it will be possible to use the hotel lagguage room.
