These are just some of the comments that emerged this morning, 3 July, from the feedback on DigiTraining Plus 2016.
This important moment saw the contribution of Peter Buckingham, one of the course lecturers, who not only led a highly appreciated session on the evolution of movie theatres over the coming decade, but also shared three whole days with the participants.
Summing up the message of DigiTraining Plus 2016, Peter said: "technology, with its constant developments, obviously plays a fundamental role, but it cannot be separated from the building of knowledge. The work of professional players in the cinema industry must proceed along these two guidelines: technology and knowledge. Indeed, it will become increasingly important on the one hand to get to know our audiences, and on the other the products and services we are offering, as well as the latters' capacity to respond to our audience's needs not only in terms of quality but also in terms of emotional experience. To succeed in this enterprise, those active in this sector will have to work together, just as I have seen them do over these past few days."
