Film of the day
Lights In The Dusk
by Aki Kaurismäki

A competitor at Cannes 2006, Lights In The Dusk, Aki Kaurismäki's latest film, a Finnish co-production with Germany and France, is being released all over Europe. The last in the trilogy that began with Drifting Clouds (1996) and continued with Man Without a Past (2002), Lights In The Dusk touches on the themes of the loneliness and meanness that torment everyday life, seen through the story of Koistinen, whose humanity seems to be incompatible with the world around him.
