"A Salute to European Film" - Congratulations to the Honorees
Evening of 28 June
MEDIA Salles will present a selection of trailers of European hit films.
The "Salute" will include the participation of Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, winners of the "Palme d'Or" at Cannes with the film L'Enfant, who will receive the "International Directors of the Year" Award.
The Award will be presented by Laura Fumagalli, Marketing Manager of Arcadia Cinemas - Melzo, Milan - and co-ordinator of the MEDIA Salles' Work Group on Digital Cinema.

"Final Luncheon and Awards Ceremony" - Congratulations to the Honorees
30 June, from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm
Mr Jona Oberski, the Dutch author of "Childhood" on Shoah, from which Jonah Who Lived in the Whale by Roberto Faenza was taken, will present the MEDIA Salles' "European Producer of the Year" Award to Ms Elda Ferri, for her important contribution in giving to Italian cinema international fame and prestige, with productions such as Life is Beautiful by Roberto Benigni, The House Keys by Gianni Amelio, Jonah Who Lived in the Whale and According to Pereira by Roberto Faenza.
Bruno Ganz will receive the "International Star Award".
